we’re totally getting married!

It’s true: we’re taking the plunge and we’d love to have you along for the ride. If you’re visiting this site you’ve probably received an invitation to celebrate with us, so let’s get down to the details. We’re throwing a party on Friday, August 8th, 2008 here in the great city of Chicago. Okay, it’s technically not in Chicago, but it’s in the near burbs where Leslie grew up. The party will be held at The Prickly Pear in La Grange and will kick off at 6 PM. You can check out more of the location details on the when and where page, but first: can you do us a favor? Now that you’ve RSVP’d (you have, haven’t you?), here’s the rest of the details…

Thanks to the generosity of Leslie’s sister Nicole and her husband Michael we’re having a brief and (extra) sweet ceremony in their backyard at 5:15 PM, shortly before the party in La Grange. Family and out-of-town friends are invited, and the rest of you we’ll see at The Prickly Pear at 6!

Dress is casual and care-free, so wear whatever’s comfortable and cool. There is plenty of parking at the party venue, and the Stone Avenue stop on the Metra is a mere block from the front door. If you have any questions or run into problems, don’t hesitate to call or email one of us.
